1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Lockbah uses cookies and similar technologies on its website and application. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small records stored by your browser. Similar technologies, including tracking pixels, can recognize a browser or collect information about how a page is used.
2. Essential cookies
Essential cookies are used because Lockbah cannot provide secure account and application functions without them. They are not used for advertising.
- Session and authentication cookies that keep you signed in and associate requests with the correct account.
- Security and CSRF cookies that help prevent unauthorized requests and protect forms.
- Appearance and interface preference cookies that remember theme and navigation choices.
- The lockbah_cookie_consent cookie, which records whether you selected essential cookies only or allowed TikTok marketing. It lasts for up to 12 months.
3. Optional TikTok marketing
Lockbah uses the TikTok Pixel to understand whether marketing campaigns lead people to visit or use the site. TikTok may receive technical information such as browser, device, page, referral, event, and network information when the pixel is enabled.
TikTok marketing is off by default. The TikTok script is not requested until you actively choose “Allow TikTok marketing”. Choosing essential cookies only does not prevent you from using Lockbah.
4. Change or withdraw your choice
Use the Cookie preferences control in the site footer to review your current choice. You can allow TikTok marketing or return to essential cookies only at any time.
When you withdraw marketing consent, Lockbah tells the TikTok Pixel to revoke consent and reloads the page without the marketing script. You may also clear cookies through your browser settings.
5. Third-party processing
If you allow TikTok marketing, TikTok processes information under its own privacy terms and may process information outside Malaysia. Review TikTok’s privacy information before enabling marketing if you want more detail about its practices.
Lockbah will update this policy and its consent controls before adding another optional analytics or marketing technology.
6. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when our technology, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date identifies the current version.
